Isaiah Thomas has mile-high expectations for the Denver Nuggets in 2018-19.
Appearing at the KSE Partner Summit on Friday, the 29-year-old point guard predicted the Nuggets - who he signed a one-year, $2-million contract with last month - will bring an end to their five-year postseason drought.
"It's a long season of 82 games - plus the playoffs, which we will be making this year," Thomas said.

Denver last competed in the playoffs in 2012-13 on the back of a 57-win campaign. That season marked the fourth year in a row and ninth in 10 years that the team was bounced out of the first round.
A winner-take-all showdown with the Minnesota Timberwolves to determine the eighth seed in the Western Conference didn't go in the Nuggets' favor to close out 2017-18. The game needed an extra five minutes of action, with Denver coming up short in a 112-106 overtime loss.
Thomas split last season between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 15.2 points and 4.8 assists on 37.3 percent shooting across 32 appearances. He's expected to be fully cleared for basketball activity next month following arthroscopic surgery on his right hip in March, and will be slotted into a sixth man role behind guards Jamal Murray and Gary Harris once the season gets underway.
"I'm here to help," Thomas added on Friday. "Whatever the team needs me to do, I'm here to win."
