Free-agent guard Nick Young was arrested late Friday night for delaying an investigation, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to The Associated Press.
LAPD spokesman Mike Lopez said Young didn't obey officers, became upset, and caused a delay. Video of Young being handcuffed against a wall was obtained by TMZ Sports.
The former Golden State Warriors guard was booked early Saturday and later released. He's due in court Sept. 19. Delaying an investigation is a misdemeanor under California law.
Young, 33, is coming off his first NBA championship but has yet to be signed as training camp nears. He averaged 7.3 points on 41.2 percent shooting in 80 games last season.
