Las Vegas Aces forward Tamera "Ty" Young recently busted out her rare "The Edition x Li-Ning" Way of Wade 6 shoes for a game against the Atlanta Dream, resulting in a warning from the WNBA.

Since Young doesn't have an endorsement deal with Li-Ning, and because the WNBA is sponsored by Nike, she was told that wearing the shoes again would result in a $500 fine, according to The Undefeated's Aaron Dodson.

After hearing this Friday, Dwyane Wade told Young he'd be willing to pay the fine for her.

Wade sent Young a pair of "The Edition x Li-Ning" Way of Wade 6s last fall. The shoes were released exclusively in Miami during the annual Art Basel exhibition and were limited to 500 pairs.
