DeMarcus Cousins detonated a "nuclear bomb" on the rest of the NBA by joining the reigning champion Golden State Warriors in free agency, and if anyone was rattled or upset by his decision, Boogie simply didn't care.

"I knew how it would be perceived from some. I didn't give a f---. I'm saying it now because I've seen the reaction, but I didn't give a f---," said Cousins on Showtime's "The Resurgence." "I knew what my ace was, and we made the call.

"There's some motherf------ out there that are probably ripping their hair out right now, and I love it."

"The Resurgence" documentary chronicles Cousins' recovery from the ruptured left Achilles he suffered in January - an injury which turned off basically every other team in the Association and pushed him toward taking less money with Golden State.

"Yeah, I could've probably gotten a decent contract from a bad team but how does that help me? I'm already fighting a career-ending injury. I'm not going to put myself in an already bad situation to try to prove my value or my worth as a player in a situation that's not looking to win," he said.
