The San Antonio Spurs weren't going to let another restricted free agent escape their grasp.
A day after Kyle Anderson became a member of the Memphis Grizzlies, the Spurs came to terms with Davis Bertans on a two-year, $14.5-million contract, Bertans' agent, Arturs Kalnitis, told Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
It was previously reported that the Latvian power forward would be re-upping on a new four-year deal worth $20 million, but that was refuted by Kalnitis.
Bertans made 77 appearances during his sophomore year with San Antonio, averaging 5.9 points, two boards, and an assist while shooting 37.3 percent from 3-point range primarily as a reserve.
