The Oklahoma City Thunder re-signed veteran point guard Raymond Felton to a one-year, $2.4-million deal Tuesday, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The move would push the organization past the $300-million threshold with its roster, as constituted, in both salary and tax, which has never been achieved in NBA history. Their tax bill will reach the $150-million mark with the Felton signing, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
Felton played in all 82 games for the Thunder in 2017-18, his 13th year in the Association. He averaged 6.9 points, 2.5 assists, and 1.9 rebounds in 16.6 minutes as a reserve.
Oklahoma City has already committed a ton of money this summer. The Thunder re-signed Paul George to a four-year contract worth $137 million, Jerami Grant is back on a three-year, $27-million deal, and Carmelo Anthony didn't exercise the early termination option in his contract and will earn $27.9 million.
As far as key players already locked in, Russell Westbrook will soak up another $35.3 million and Steven Adams is owed $24.1 million.
