Free-agent big man Derrick Favors had a successful meeting with the Utah Jazz's key front office personnel and head coach Quin Snyder on Sunday, league sources told the Salt Lake Tribune's Tony Jones.
TNT's David Aldridge corroborated the report, adding that Favors is likely to make his decision Monday.
Favors has averaged 13.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game since emerging as a starter over the past five seasons. Apart from the first 56 games of his career with the then-New Jersey Nets, the 26-year-old has played his entire career for the Jazz.
Favors said earlier this week that both he and the Jazz were interested in continuing their relationship.
