If Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr ever decides to enter the U.S. presidential race, he'll have Dwyane Wade's support.

When asked in an interview with Bloomberg's Joel Weber if he thinks Kerr could run for president, Wade replied, "Yeah. I'd vote for him. I like him."

Warriors assistant coach Bruce Fraser expressed a similar sentiment earlier this month.

"Steve would, honestly, be an incredible president for our country," Fraser said, according to Les Carpenter of The Guardian. "He would be better at that than as a coach, and he's a great coach."

Kerr has been vocal about a wide range of social issues, but he's also made it clear he has no interest in pursuing a political career - at least for now.

"No, I can't imagine getting into politics. It sounds horrible. It sounds awful," he said in December. "What would you rather do, coach basketball or be in the government? ... I'm not interested or qualified for something like that."
