P.J. Tucker dropped $200K on shoes this season
Building a sneaker collection as large as P.J. Tucker's doesn't come cheap.
In an interview with Matt Welty of Complex, the Houston Rockets forward revealed the staggering amount of money he spent on shoes this past season alone.
"Probably close to $200K," Tucker said.
A good chunk of that total came from Tucker's appearance on the Complex show "Sneaker Shopping," during which he bought nearly $17,000 worth of shoes from Flight Club in New York City.
"I don't know what happened, but I think someone just dropped off a bunch of their collections there," Tucker said. "(I spent) double what we did on the actual episode (of Sneaker Shopping). Guys in the the store were laughing (during the shoot), and they were like, 'People don't even know that you were here a couple of weeks ago.' It was O.G. old stuff, the stuff I had been looking at for years."
Tucker showed off some of his collection in February after the All-Star break:
