With the No. 10 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers have selected Villanova's Mikal Bridges.

Bridges was not a highly ranked recruit heading to Villanova, but the lanky wing blossomed with the Wildcats, improving each year before putting in a standout junior campaign. Bridges has the perfect measurables for an NBA wing, and is one of the most efficient offensive players in the draft. He's a very accurate shooter from deep who can stretch the floor and get after it on the defensive end. He may not have much more room for growth, but Bridges is one of the safer picks in the draft as a 3-and-D wing.

What the analysts are saying

"Bridges has his offensive limitations and benefited from playing in Villanova's system, but there's no question he's one of the safer prospects in this range." - Mike Schmitz, ESPN

"Effective catch-and-shooter with NBA range; flashes the body control necessary to develop into a shooter off screens." - Kevin O'Connor, The Ringer
