Kerr: Game plan to stay the same whether Paul plays or not

Chris Paul of the Rockets is at best a game-time decision for Game 7 of the Western Conference finals Monday night, but it's almost a moot point to Warriors coach Steve Kerr.

"Our game plan stays the same," Kerr said, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen. "It's not like they change their offense when he's out there. It's more of an individual tendency thing. Our guys have the scouting report down. We'll see what happens."

Paul is nursing a severe right hamstring injury that threatens to keep him out of easily the biggest game of his 13-year career. The point guard carried Houston to wins in Games 4 and 5 before he got hurt, and those remain the last contests in the series the Rockets won.

Houston had success earlier in the series running Stephen Curry through multiple screens in hopes of landing him on James Harden defensively. Curry is aware the Rockets' bag of tricks still exists regardless of whether Paul plays.

"For the most part, the things we do when we're successful against this team happen whether (Paul is) out there on the floor or not; defensively locking in, being on a string, offensively trying to keep the ball moving trying to keep the pace," Curry said. "We'll obviously adjust if he does play."
