Jaren Jackson Jr.: NBA team asked me to recreate 'Wolf of Wall Street' scene

Just like in the NFL, NBA pre-draft interviews sometimes veer into strange territory.

Michigan State's Jaren Jackson Jr., widely considered a top-five prospect in the 2018 NBA Draft, revealed Thursday that he was asked to recreate the sales-pitch scene about a pen from the 2013 movie "The Wolf of Wall Street" during one of his interviews.

"They hit me with a 'sell me this pen.' And just like the 'Wolf of Wall Street,' I had to sell it to them," Jackson told ESPN. "... It was funny, the pen I had in the meeting, it clicked and I didn't think it was working so he asked me, 'Is it broken?' I said, 'No, it's just one of our more unique pens.'"
