It's going to take more than a disgruntled tweet for Kevin Durant to turn his back on a teammate's mother.

As the Golden State Warriors were getting thumped by the Houston Rockets in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals, Draymond Green's mother, Mary Babers, sent out a number of tweets chronicling her thoughts as she watched the reigning champions get blown out.

The next day, Babers appeared to shade Durant for taking too many shots (13-of-22 from the field) and not passing the ball more.

Durant was made aware of the tweets, but won't allow them to change his opinion of her.

"I love her like she's my mom," Durant said Friday, according to Sports Illustrated's Ben Golliver.

With her tweets suddenly blowing up, especially on sports talk television, Babers made it clear that she was in no way trying to single out Durant, and was instead criticizing the Warriors as a whole for not incorporating everyone into the offense.
