Watch: Master P thinks he'd be 'perfect coach' for Raptors
Percy "Master P" Miller hasn't given up on his dream of coaching in the NBA.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, the hip-hop mogul - who previously expressed interest in joining the New Orleans Pelicans as an assistant - shared his thoughts on the Toronto Raptors' firing of Dwane Casey and made his case for why he should be their next head coach.
"I think that I would be the perfect coach for Toronto because I understand the team, I understand the players," Miller said. "Toronto had two All-Stars, and you look at it right now, it's like, you should've went farther."
Not only did Miller have a brief preseason stint with the Raptors in 1999, he also coached a young DeMar DeRozan on his AAU basketball team in Los Angeles.
