Raptors president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri stormed into Toronto's locker room at Quicken Loans Arena and gave head coach Dwane Casey an earful after his team's Game 3 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, sources told Sportsnet's Michael Grange. Ujiri was reportedly upset that LeBron James wasn't double-teamed before hitting his game-winning floater.

It might've been the last straw after several miscues throughout the series. Grange reports that Ujiri was frustrated after the Raptors blew a double-digit lead in Game 1 at home and failed to inbound the ball after a timeout - resulting in a five-second violation - at a crucial moment of their overtime loss.

The lack of adjustments throughout the series, including an inability to guard Kevin Love in the post in Game 2, reportedly only added to the frustration.

The Raptors struggled to solve James and the Cavaliers for a third straight postseason and once again couldn't capitalize on their regular season success.

Casey was fired Friday after seven seasons with the franchise. He led the Raptors to a 320-238 record during his tenure, including a franchise-best 59-win season in 2017-18. Despite being relieved of his duties, he's still a strong candidate to be named NBA Coach of the Year.
