The 2018 NBA Draft Lottery saw the Phoenix Suns win the No. 1 pick for the first time in franchise history.

Phoenix had the worst record in the league, and therefore the highest odds at the top pick with 25 percent of the lottery combinations.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks moved up into the top three. Sacramento had a six percent shot at the No. 2, while Atlanta won the No. 3 pick with 14.5 percent odds.

Pick Team Original lottery position
1 Phoenix Suns 1
2 Sacramento Kings 7
3 Atlanta Hawks 4
4 Memphis Grizzlies 2
5 Dallas Mavericks 3
6 Orlando Magic 5
7 Chicago Bulls 6
8 Cleveland Cavaliers (via Brooklyn) 8
9 New York Knicks 9
10 Philadelphia 76ers 10
11 Charlotte Hornets 11
12 Los Angeles Clippers (via Detroit) 12
13 Los Angeles Clippers 13
14 Denver Nuggets 14

The two relevant pick protections broke right for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers. Philadelphia would have surrendered their pick (originally from the Los Angeles Lakers) to the Boston Celtics if it landed between two and five, but it remained at 10. The Detroit Pistons lost their pick to the Clippers since it was only protected for the top four.
