Report: NBA warns Drake about using 'bad language' after spat with Perkins

Bad things. It's a lot of bad things.

The NBA warned Drake about "the use of bad language," a source told ESPN on Thursday.

Kiki Vandeweghe, the league's executive VP of basketball operations, also reportedly spoke to Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri about the popular rapper's use of coarse language.

Drake, who serves as a global ambassador for the Raptors and has courtside seats to games at the Air Canada Centre, got into multiple heated exchanges with Cleveland Cavaliers center Kendrick Perkins during Tuesday's Game 1.

Drake has engaged in trash talk with many of Toronto's opponents, including John Wall and Kelly Oubre Jr. during the first round of the playoffs.

The Raptors dropped Game 1 at home 113-112 in overtime and will try to even their Eastern Conference semifinal series Thursday at 6 p.m. ET.
