The Miami Heat announced on Monday that guard Tyler Johnson has undergone surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb. He will be in a cast for six weeks and is expected to make a full recovery.

Johnson suffered the injury in Game 3 of the Heat's first-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers, but missed no time because of the injury.

The four-year pro averaged 11.7 points and 3.4 rebounds this season.
