Hoodie Melo-inspired Jordan Melo 1.5 unveiled

Hoodie Melo is being immortalized in shoe form.

Jordan Brand pulled inspiration from Carmelo Anthony's alter ego for a new all-black colorway of his first signature shoe.

The Jordan Melo 1.5 "Hoodie Melo" features an "XLT" tag on the ankle that nods to Anthony's extra-large tall hoodie size and Oklahoma City Thunder colors on the Wings logo. It's expected to hit retailers on May 1, according to Riley Jones of Sole Collector.

Jordan Brand previously honored Hoodie Melo with a "Hoodie SZN" sweatshirt, which the company released prior to Anthony's regular-season debut with the Thunder.
