Warriors point guard Stephen Curry sat out Game 1 of Golden State's Western Conference semifinal series versus the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, but it wasn't all bad news for the defending champions.
Head coach Steve Kerr said Curry is "very likely" to return in Game 2, with the possibility of both a bench role and minutes restriction in play for Tuesday.
The two-time MVP has been out since March 8 with a knee injury, and the Warriors could certainly use his presence and production. Curry has averaged 26.2 points per game, 6.6 assists per game, and 5.1 rebounds per game over 75 career playoff contests.
