These don't look like the Raptors of old.
Toronto set a playoff record for most points in a quarter Tuesday, coming out of the gate with 44 points in the first against the Washington Wizards in Game 2.
That advantage carried over into a lopsided 76-58 scoreline at halftime. The Raptors made 11 threes in the first half on 22 attempts, while also connecting on 28 of 50 from the field overall in addition to sinking nine free throws.
DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 20 points at the half, while Jonas Valanciunas chipped in with a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds in just two quarters. C.J. Miles also scored 11 off the bench after the Wizards' defense lost track of the sharpshooter.
Toronto won Game 1 by a score of 114-106.
