The entrance to Tuesday's matchup in Sacramento between the Kings and Dallas Mavericks was disrupted by protestors, the second time it's happened in five days as demonstrations over the police shooting death of an unarmed local man - Stephon Clark - continue in California's capital.
"You ain't seeing no game tonight," protesters reportedly shouted at those attempting to enter Golden 1 Center, according to the Sacramento Bee's Dale Kasler, Tony Bizjak, Nashelly Chavez, and Hudson Sangree. "Join us or go home."
While the Kings announced that some entrances had been temporarily closed to ensure crowd safety, the scheduled tip-off proceeded as expected.
That didn't mean that the majority ticket-holders were able to find their seats in time for the game's start, as the arena appeared to be practically empty:
