The Rock shares 'inspirational message' with Lakers before game

The Los Angeles Lakers received a pep talk from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson prior to Tuesday night's win over the Denver Nuggets.

The visit was part of the Lakers' "Genius Talks" program, which invites high-profile people to speak to the team.

Head coach Luke Walton told Bill Oram of the Orange County Register that Johnson touched on "what he has done in his career from learning from his disappointments, learning from his life experiences, how he approaches different situations."

Team owner Jeanie Buss noted on Instagram that she was left speechless by Johnson's visit, while president of basketball operations Magic Johnson thanked the wrestler-turned-actor for delivering an "inspirational message."
