A key contributor during the Los Angeles Lakers' ongoing five-game winning streak will be forced to miss some time.

An MRI on Sunday showed Brandon Ingram suffered a left groin strain during Thursday's 18-point win over the Miami Heat.

He'll be re-evaluated in approximately one week, with his earliest return date being Sunday against the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers at Staples Center.

Ingram wasn't on the floor when the Lakers beat the San Antonio Spurs by four on the road Saturday night.

In the four games he played in during this ongoing streak, he averaged 17 points on 58.2 percent shooting from the field, 9.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and a steal in 33 minutes.

Los Angeles sits 11th in the Western Conference with a 28-34 record.
