LeBron denies rumor he visited Philly schools during All-Star break
Sorry, Philadelphia 76ers fans.
Cleveland Cavaliers icon LeBron James shut down and laughed off the rumor he checked out some schools in Philadelphia during the All-Star Break.
"In Pennsylvania? No. What are you talking about? No. Over the All-Star Break? No. I was on vacation and I went to Los Angeles." he told NBC Sports' Jessica Camerato on Thursday.
Sixers commentator Alaa Abdelnaby recently relayed that a superintendent said James, a father of three, visited some Philly private schools during the All-Star break.
James hadn't heard about that hearsay, so he asked a reporter to fill him in after the media session.
"That's disgusting," he said, according to Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon.
The four-time MVP, who's expected to hit unrestricted free agency this summer, spent All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, where he happens to own two homes and resides during the offseason. He's been linked to several teams in free-agency rumors, including the Lakers and 76ers.

James said Wednesday he was flattered by new billboards in Cleveland that were funded by a Pennsylvania-based company with the hope of convincing him to sign with the Sixers in July.
