The Miami Heat will reportedly wear a patch on their jerseys starting Friday to honor the victims of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, according to WPLG's Will Manso.
The team will reportedly wear the design, which hasn't been completed yet, for the rest of the season. The Heat play the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.
Seventeen people were killed in the shooting at the high school in Parkland, Fla., which is part of the Miami metropolitan area.
