Report: Spurs have offered Green, 1st-round pick to Clippers for Bradley
In their pursuit of Avery Bradley, the San Antonio Spurs have discussed a deal that would send Danny Green and a first-round pick to the Los Angeles Clippers, league sources told The New York Post's Marc Stein.
San Antonio, however, would prefer not to part ways with a first rounder in a potential trade.
Green has been a part of the Spurs since 2010 and won a championship with the organization back in 2014.
The 30-year-old shooting guard is averaging 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists through 45 starts this season. He also has a player option worth $10 million in 2018-19.
Bradley, on the other hand, will hit unrestricted free agency this summer and is three years younger than Green. The Clippers recently acquired him as part of a package from the Detroit Pistons in the trade that sent Blake Griffin to the Motor City.
In two outings since coming to Los Angeles, Bradley has contributed averages of 10 points and three dimes on 52.6 percent shooting from the field.
