Antetokounmpo to miss next 2 games due to right knee soreness
The Milwaukee Bucks announced they will be without the services of 2018 All-Star starter Giannis Antetokounmpo for the next two games due to right knee soreness.
Antetokounmpo will be out Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers and Monday against the Phoenix Suns.
In the two games Antetokounmpo has missed this season, the Bucks are 1-1. They are currently 23-21 overall, occupying the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, but are just one game ahead of the ninth-seed Detroit Pistons.
At this time, the Bucks' plan is for Antetokounmpo to return Jan. 26 against the Brooklyn Nets.
In a league-high 37.4 minutes per game, the Greek Freak has averaged 28.2 points, 10.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks, building his case as one of the front-runners for MVP honors.
