Embiid brushes off Rihanna after All-Star nod: 'Onto the next one'

After years of trying to get a date with Rihanna, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is ready to move on.

Many assumed Embiid was referring to Rihanna when he sent out a cryptic tweet in 2014 about a "famous girl" who told him to "come back when you're (an) All Star." So, when Embiid was selected as a starter for the Eastern Conference All-Star team Thursday, his fans began flooding Rihanna's Instagram comments.

Embiid, however, brushed off talk of a potential date with the pop star in a postgame interview.
