NBA fines DeRozan $25K, Dragic $10K for scuffle
Unlike his teammate Serge Ibaka, DeMar DeRozan won't miss time for getting chippy Tuesday against the Miami Heat.
The Toronto Raptors shooting guard was fined $25,000 for his altercation with Goran Dragic, who was hit with a $10,000 penalty for his role in the incident, the NBA announced Wednesday.
As the buzzer sounded on Toronto's 90-89 loss at Air Canada Centre, DeRozan and Dragic exchanged some words and shoves, and the former even took a swipe at the latter's face before they were separated.

DeRozan said postgame that Dragic must've thought he was trying to hit him after taking the final shot of the game, so the Heat guard gave the three-time All-Star a look that set him off.
The $25,000 fine is the heftiest of DeRozan's nine-year career. His teammate Ibaka and Heat forward James Johnson were suspended one game apiece for fighting in the same contest.
Dragic said after the game he and DeRozan "just exchanged some words" and the interaction was "no big deal." He wasn't pleased to learn the chat cost him $10,000.
"I was surprised," he told Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman. "I don't agree (with) it, but I'm moving on. It's done."
