Raptors' Dwane Casey to coach Team LeBron at NBA All-Star Game
Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey will be heading to Los Angeles to coach Team LeBron at this year's NBA All-Star Game.
With Brad Stevens ineligible to coach for a second year in a row, the honor is now bestowed upon Casey as a result of the Raptors clinching the strongest record in the Eastern Conference outside of the No. 1-seeded Boston Celtics.
This was set in stone Sunday night with Toronto defeating the visiting Los Angeles Lakers at the Air Canada Centre to improve to 33-15 on the season.
Casey won't be coaching two of his own All-Stars, though, as both DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry were recently announced to have been drafted by Stephen Curry to compete for the opposing squad.
