The Golden State Warriors will be without Kevin Durant for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the team announced.
Durant continues to deal with a strained calf that previously held him out of Thursday's showdown with the Houston Rockets. He also battled ankle injuries earlier in the season.
The Warriors, given their depth and championship aspirations, are heavily cautious when it comes to injuries. Even with Durant out of the lineup, they will still have Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green to lead the way.
Durant is averaging 25.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2.3 blocks this season while shooting 50.1 percent from the floor and 39 percent from deep.
