Semi-truck crashes into Evan Turner's pool

A truck driver had to be rescued Wednesday morning after his semi ran off a Portland road and down a ravine into Trail Blazers guard Evan Turner's swimming pool.

"I wasn't aware that the driver was injured or how badly," Turner said Wednesday through a team spokesman via ESPN. "But I'm obviously grateful that the first responders were able to rescue him and I hope and pray he'll be fine."
Turner was close to another automobile accident in October. In that case, the eight-year NBA veteran stopped to assist a woman in shock after a car crash on I-5.
