Gobert set for early return vs. Wizards
Rudy Gobert apparently heals like Wolverine.
The Utah Jazz center participated in shootaround and is available to play Monday night against the Washington Wizards, the team announced.
Gobert has been sidelined since Nov. 10 with a bone bruise in his right knee. He was expected to miss four-to-six weeks, but only ended up on the sidelines for three as a result of this "dirty" play by Dion Waiters:

The Stifle Tower averaged 13.9 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 1.2 dimes over the first 12 games of the season.
He'll return to a team that's done surprisingly well despite dealing with a litany of injuries. The Gobert-less Jazz have held down the fort defensively and currently rank sixth in defensive rating, second in steals, and fifth in blocks.
