Carmelo passes Iverson on NBA's all-time scoring list
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Carmelo Anthony moved up the NBA's all-time scoring list Thursday night, leaping one of his former Hall of Fame teammates in the process.
With his 12th and 13th points against the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center, Anthony passed Allen "The Answer" Iverson for 24th place.

Anthony and Iverson, ironically enough, played together for the Nuggets from 2006 through 2008, although they never got the team more than a single win in the opening round of the playoffs.
Entering Thursday's matchup in the Mile High City, Anthony was averaging 20.1 points on 41.5 percent shooting from the field and 32.8 percent from behind the arc through 10 appearances for OKC.
