Devin Booker has shown some real flashes of brilliance in his two-plus NBA seasons, and he joined some exclusive company Monday night.
Booker became the fourth-youngest player in NBA history to reach 3,000 points scored, finishing with 18 in a 98-92 Suns loss to the Nets.
| Youngest players to 3000 points | |
|---|---|
| LeBron James | 20 years 62 days |
| Kevin Durant | 20 years 144 days |
| Carmelo Anthony | 20 years 307 days |
| Devin Booker | 21 years 7 days |
| Andrew Wiggins | 21 years 144 days |
While the feat is a byproduct of both the prep-to-pro generation and the one-and-done era, Booker wasn't as highly touted coming into the NBA as the other four players noted. The sweet-shooting 6-foot-6 guard has already had some incredible performances, such as dropping 70 points in a loss to the Boston Celtics last season.
