LeBron James may be in his 15th season, but the 32-year-old continues to show no signs of slowing down.
In Thursday's 121-112 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Lakers, the Cavaliers superstar notched his 59th career triple-double, tying Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird for sixth all-time.
James finished with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists, with two steals and two blocks for good measure.
Here's how LeBron matches up at the top of the career triple-double leaderboard:
| Rank | Player | # |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Oscar Robertson | 181 |
| 2 | Magic Johnson | 138 |
| 3 | Jason Kidd | 107 |
| 4 | Russell Westbrook | 88 |
| 5 | Wilt Chamberlain | 78 |
| T6 | LeBron James | 59 |
| T6 | Larry Bird | 59 |
At his career rate of one triple-double every 18.5 regular-season games, James is on pace to catch Wilt Chamberlain's mark of 78 sometime during the 2021-22 season. If any player can continue playing at a high level well into their late 30s, James is a solid bet.
