Paul Millsap returned to Philips Arena on Friday night as a member of the opposition, with his Denver Nuggets taking on his former club in the Atlanta Hawks.
The organization was gracious enough to air a tribute video for the 32-year-old All-Star forward, who competed for four seasons in Atlanta (2013-2017).
Millsap averaged 17.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.2 rejections on 46.3 percent shooting during that span, leading the Hawks to the playoffs each season, and going as far as the Eastern Conference finals in 2014-15 following a 60-win campaign.
He inked a three-year, $90-million contract with Denver over the summer.
