Clippers' Teodosic helped off after suffering foot injury
Maybe the NBA shouldn't have shortened preseason, because it seems like every team is suffering an early spate of injuries.
The Los Angeles Clippers lost point guard Milos Teodosic to a left foot injury in Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns and he won't return, the team announced.
Teodosic will undergo an MRI in order to determine the severity of the injury, a league source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Teodosic chased a rebound, then pulled up lame, although he didn't appear to make hard contact with anybody in the process. He stayed down on the ensuing play and had to be helped to the locker room.
The Clippers signed Teodosic from the European ranks this summer to have him shore up the point guard position, along with Patrick Beverley. Teodosic hasn't yet found his shooting stroke, but his stellar passing has already endeared him to the fan base.
