The Sacramento Kings announced Friday the hiring of Jenny Boucek as assistant player development coach on bench boss Dave Joerger's staff.
Boucek is now the second active female assistant coach in the NBA, along with Becky Hammon of the San Antonio Spurs. The Kings previously employed women's basketball legend Nancy Lieberman as an assistant in 2015-16.
Boucek most recently coached the WNBA's Seattle Storm, and previously coached Sacramento's former WNBA squad, the Monarchs, from 2006-09.
