The basketball world was rattled barely six minutes into the NBA's season opener Tuesday when Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward went down with a gruesome leg injury against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With only two games scheduled on the night, several players across the Association were able to catch the action, watching as one of their peers took the air out of Quicken Loans Arena with his catastrophic injury.
Those who witnessed the incident took to Twitter with their initial reactions, while also sending prayers to Hayward.
