The Minnesota Lynx won their fourth WNBA championship after fending off a brave comeback bid from the Los Angeles Sparks.

Maya Moore drilled a dramatic pull-up jumper to seal the 85-76 victory for the Lynx as they celebrated a joyous Game 5 victory over their bitter west coast rivals on their home court.

Moore scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but lost Finals MVP honors to Sylvia Fowles, who tallied 17 points and grabbed 20 boards in the win. Lindsay Whalen added 17 points and eight assists for the Lynx, while the Sparks were buoyed by a valiant showing from Candace Parker.

Minnesota has won the championship in every odd year dating back to its first ring in 2011 when the team first drafted Moore.
