It looks like the Indiana Pacers will be without Glenn Robinson III to start the season.

The 23-year-old small forward is expected to be sidelined for two months with a severely sprained left ankle, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Robinson suffered the lower leg injury during Friday's scrimmage, and was carted off the court with his limb wrapped. The reigning Slam Dunk champ averaged 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 20.7 minutes per game last season.

The injury is especially unfortunate for Indiana given its lack of depth at the three-spot, with Robinson slated to compete for minutes with free-agent addition Bojan Bogdanovic. The timeline suggests he'll make his season debut in late November, so roughly 20 games into 2017-18.
