Cavs officially sign Wade
The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially added Dwyane Wade, the team announced.
Wade cleared waivers Wednesday and signed a contract for the reported veteran's minimum - $2.3 million.
"There's no better place to be right now to continue to play and compete at the highest level," Wade posted in a tweet. "I look forward to reuniting and playing alongside my brother LeBron (James). We've already won two championships together and I hope we win a third."

Wade went right to work upon signing, practicing with the team Wednesday evening. He will be formally introduced Friday, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, who added that Wade will wear No. 9 with the team. The Cavaliers cut rookie JaCorey Williams to make room for Wade.
