Raptors' Ujiri on Trump: 'I think we'll be fine with Trudeau'
With multiple NBA media days falling on the Monday after a surreal weekend in which the President of the United States called out the actions of football players making social statements, Donald Trump was the hot topic du jour.
That included across the border in Canada, where Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri answered a "what if" question about his team visiting the White House after hypothetical NBA title.
"If we win a championship one day I think we'll be fine with (Canadian Prime Minister Justin) Trudeau," he said.

With the Golden State Warriors uninvited to the Trump White House due to statements made by Stephen Curry, a debate rages not just over kneeling for the national anthem, but also honoring historical traditions such as championship teams visiting the president. The Pittsburgh Penguins took another route Sunday, announcing they'd meet Trump.
Ujiri said he supports his players saying what they feel.
"There's nobody getting fired here, you can quote me."
