LeBron James is still a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and though he'll be able to decline his player option after the 2017-18 season, he doesn't want anyone to dwell on his potential departure.
"I won't ever cheat my teammates or cheat the fans, or (be in) a situation where I'm worried or talking about free agency all year long," James told the press at Cavaliers Media Day. "I'm not going to put energy into something I can handle in the summertime when I should be focused on things I need to do on a day-to-day basis to help this team compete for a championship."
