LeBron James wasn't going to sit idly by and let a close friend and colleague in Stephen Curry be left on an island while speaking out against President Donald Trump.

In a follow-up response to a tweet he sent out Saturday morning in which he referred to Trump as a "bum," the Cleveland Cavaliers star posted a video on Uninterrupted to provide more insight to his remarks.

"It's basically at a point where I'm just a little frustrated, man. Because this guy that we've put in charge has tried to divide us once again," James said.

He then brought up the events in Charlottesville and the racially-charged protests that took place which caused further division. At the time, James blasted Trump and the direction the country was heading in, while also making light of Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan.

"We, as American people, need to actually just come together even more strong," James said to conclude his video. "This is a very critical time, and me being in the position I am, I had to voice this to ya'll."
