Phil Jackson lists NYC apartment for just under $5M
The Phil Jackson era in New York appears to be nearing full closure.
The jettisoned Knicks president has listed his three-bedroom 57th Street apartment for $4.95 million, according to Curbed's Zoe Rosenberg. Jackson paid about $100,000 less for the abode in 2014, the same year he was hired to run the Knicks.
Two blocks south of Central Park, the apartment building - on a stretch known as "Billionaires' Row" - is also home to actress Jessica Chastain.
The unit's maintenance costs alone are $51,288 a year, or $4,274 a month - a little over $1,000 more than the average monthly rent in New York City.
Jackson's tenure as team president came to an unceremonious end in June amid reports he listened to trade offers for Kristaps Porzingis, and that he'd fallen asleep during a pre-draft workout.
