Steph Curry continues to show for Colin Kaepernick.

The Golden State Warriors point guard praised the free-agent quarterback for last season's protest of the national anthem, suggesting that Kaepernick's public demonstration ultimately made the world a better place.

"Obviously his stance and his peaceful protest when he was playing here kind of shook up the world and I think for the better," Curry told Scott Fowler of The Charlotte Observer. "But hopefully he gets back in the league - because he deserves to be here and he deserves an opportunity to play. He’s in his prime and can make a team better."

Having followed football for years, Curry fully believes Kaepernick deserves to be signed, especially given the number of subpar quarterbacks who currently have NFL roster spots.

"He definitely should be in the NFL," Curry said. "If you’ve been around the NFL, the top 64 quarterbacks, and he’s not one of them? Then I don’t know what game I’m watching."
