There's been plenty of speculation about where LeBron James will go next year, as he can opt out of his deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers following the upcoming campaign.

So where's he going? LaVar Ball is convinced James will join the Los Angeles Lakers.

"Let me tell you this, it would be a great fit, and LeBron is coming to L.A.," Ball recently told ClutchPoints' Ryan Ward. "What's in Cleveland? You want to be a superstar, man. Superstar franchise."

Ball, whose son Lonzo Ball was drafted No. 2 overall by the Lakers, elaborated on why he thinks James is headed to the Lake Show.

"It's going to be like this, and I'm talking about reality. He's going to say, 'You know what? I went to Miami. Won a championship. Brought one back to my hometown. I'm the only one to go to three different places and bring a championship.'"

It's worth noting that Robert Horry and John Salley both captured titles with three different teams. Nevertheless, LaVar's confident James could accomplish that and more if he joins Lonzo in L.A.

The three-time champ will earn $33.3 million with his hometown Cavs in 2017-18 before having the opportunity to become a free agent again. The Lakers have made clear their plans to clear cap space so they can sign two stars next summer.

LaVar, who's convinced that everybody wants to play with his eldest son, essentially guaranteed success if Lonzo and James team up.

"You do not give Lonzo Ball the best player in the game and don't think they going to win! He is going to fall in love with Lonzo so much on the way that he play. They both understand the game."

Though the Lakers are widely regarded as a club in the midst of a post-Kobe Bryant rebuild, LaVar thinks the addition of his son accelerated the process to completion.

"A title contender? They're there," the 48-year-old said. "This year! When you got Lonzo Ball on your team special things happen. That's what people don't understand. Lonzo's famous attribute is the winning. That boy been winning a long time. ... Lonzo wants to be the best player in the world."

And if LaVar has it his way, Lonzo will be handed the throne from the King himself.
